Important Information

Services Offered

Services include food and nutrition assistance, limited financial assistance for overdue rent, utility cutoffs, and prescription vouchers on a case-by-case basis.

We also offer ESL and GED classes and Personal and Family Counseling.

Ministry of Compassion provides food outreach once per month to Tree Top and Hartford Villas for senior citizens on a fixed income and to Camino Villa neighborhood.

English as a Second Language - Level 1
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8pm
Tuesdays from 9am to 10am
Fridays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Russian)

English as a Second Language - Level 2
Mondays from 6:30pm to 8pm
Thursdays from 9am to 10am
Fridays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Russian)

How do I receive help?

All forms of assistance require identification.

To receive assistance with food, come to Catholic Charities in person during regular hours and bring an ID for everyone in the household.

Copies of prescriptions may be required if approved for medication assistance. No assistance will be given with narcotics or mood-altering medications.

All services are provided without regard to race, religion, nationality, or gender.
